5 reasons why Lincoln’s Inn is the perfect venue
Over 500 years of history
The largest and oldest of the four Inns of Court, formal records of Lincoln’s Inn date back to an entry in the Black Books in 1422. An active, working society of barristers, judges, law students and members alike have dined “in Hall” since 1490.
11 stunning acres in the heart of London
Set in spacious, beautifully maintained private gardens right in the heart of Central London, the Inn occupies most of the 11 acre rectangle formed by High Holborn on the north, the Royal Courts of Justice on the south, Chancery Lane on the east and Lincoln’s Inn Fields on the west, providing a haven from the roar of traffic and crowded pavements.
Whether it is the magnificence of the Old Hall, one of the finest Tudor buildings in London, or the grandeur of the Great Hall, designed by the eminent architect Philip Hardwick, the rooms available to hire at Lincoln’s Inn provide the most sumptuous and unique backdrops.
